the crucible for photographic creativity is the city, where inspiration overwhelms the senses and frames seem to leap into the camera one to the next. i find my most natural creative space is the city street. the city and its lifeforms as captured by Jamal Shabaz and Daido Moriyama ultimately influence my work the most profoundly - but indirect contributions come from my love of hip-hop, house, and jazz as well as my childlike obsession with technology and its byproudcuts and enablements. i work most natively on the digital Ricoh GR3 and Sony ZV1. The gallery below contains the photographs as well as the camera utilized, place, and time of the shoot.
